Here is another one of the poems I wrote in high school.
“You had me from ‘Hello.’”
I never believed in this.
I always thought you
had to get to know the person
Before you fell head over heels.
So, how is it that I
Can love someone
Without ever meeting them?
Is this fate?
Or is it God’s Will?
Either way, I cannot control
How I feel for you.
You’re in my thoughts,
Every minute of every day.
I cannot think of anything else.
Being so far away from you
Is driving me insane.
I want to be next to you,
To feel the softness of you hair,
The smoothness of your skin,
To inhale the scent of you.
I want to know everything
There is to know about you,
Your deepest darkest secrets
To your wildest fantasies.
I want to know it all.
