| Why are we here?

It is my belief is that the universe is made up of one singular life force. The Indians call it the Great Spirit, The Christians call it God (I am the Beginning and the end, Alpha Omega) a rabbi I read once read called it the Endless Light the Jedi call it The Force. And before we are borne our awareness of this is absolute. We are aware that we are part of this wholeness. We exist as a constant continuous stream of oneness. Connected. Then from this oneness our soul is retrieved and placed in our hardware i.e. the bod. So we are then limited in our ability to perceive things is no longer constant and continuous but cut down to the 5 senses. Therefore, we are painfully aware of our aloneness. No longer connected we search and yearn for that feeling of connection. We find that in many different ways. Some find religion and feel that connection in church, scripture, hymns. I recall the hair standing up on the back of my neck singing Jesus' praises. Later however, I found that I felt the same feeling listening to Mozart, Watching a sunset or meteor shower, holding my children for the first time or making love to the woman I love. Connection. This theory also explains addictions for me. Substances, sex, Gambling, food, all either, give a person a false sense of connection OR they numb the loneliness. Always temporarily. So that's my answer that's why we're here.
