| I dreamed of you!

I dreamed of you taking my hand.
Guiding me safely through shrub and sand.
I could not see your face for the sun in my eye.
You brought with you water, for I was so dry.
And food you brought, for a hunger was upon me.
Then you spread a blanket under the Palo Verde.
You laid me down upon the blanketed ground.
And you held me within your arms,spellbound.
