Successful photo tips

While we all want to put our best foot forward- and a great photo of you in a tux on New Year's Eve is great, the best way to give a well-rounded representation is to show a candid cross section- especially those that give a sense of your personality. A casual but well groomed photo, a Halloween or adventure shot showing your silly or athletic interests really help paint a great photo. While sunglasses and hats are cool, be sure to include a shot without either.

Show a full body shot and maybe one beefcake but a form fitting shirt showing those pecs and biceps is often more appealing. Get someone to take a photo of you..Those pics you took with your arm extended show both a lack of interest in presentation and also seem a bit narcissistic.
Ditto for the women in pics- even if it IS your cousin. (kids are fine).

Show recent photos to give a realistic representation and know that "a few pounds overweight" is a subjective term. Be honest about about yourself and know that there is a lid for every pot!

You are marketing yourself. Make a plan, take an hour or 2, have someone take some nice shots in the park, etc. smile and see the great responses.
