They look good, sound good, and then once you start interacting, its all about graphic, "what I want to do to you" stuff. Am I the only one who really doesn't find that type conversation all that appealing? Talk to me. And guys, talking dirty has its place (in my opinion) and I am not a prude..but why do some of you (not all) want to write a penthouse letter? Just curious?

cowboyscrub Anchorage, AK age: 25	my grand mother used to tell me you attract more flies with honey than vinegar, why you would want to attract flies is beyond me but i believe the principle is still sound, i dont know why guys talk like that in public forums, somethings should be left to discretion, and save some spice for behind closed doors anyways. I have been on dating sites for over 20 years, I have made a few good friends that are friends now, but once you think it is ok, they get it into their little heads that you might want a bootie call. I find if they ask for my number, I make them wait, then I make the rules and when they do call they are much more respectful. Guys why can't you be more respectful period, take off the sunglasses, suck in your beer gut, take off the filthy baseball cap take a snower and shave put on a nice shirt and you might get more responses than you'd think....Tish

Granted I don't get that sort of thing from all of them..but at the time of that question, I had just joined this site and the first one I "talked"(email only..no calls) to came across like that..wtf? All most women wanted was one nighters & flings etc. If that's all I wanted I could go to any bar & have hotties all I wanted. I'm not into that though. There's something wrong with those, if this is where they get their thrills etc. If a relationship goes that far it should be takin to private email or phone & then in person SOON,ha. I think it is greatly because of the medium of the internet. They feel free to express their darkest and most base thoughts and act on it through these sites. And of course they are horny, hehehe, not like we aren't but hey, we women mostly want to meet someone special and get to know a person, even make friends, and don't just jump in there with the hormones. Some guys are still stereotypical in their behavior sometimes, or should I say boys????? Thinking with the little head....

True, not all, but I would have to say most, are just looking for some dirty talk. Perhaps if you make it very clear in the beginning that you aren't interested, you will eliminate that kind of correspondence. Just as you would when meeting people in a more conventional way, maybe if you just tell people what you're about right up front, you will be able to sift through all the unwanted junk. I've been on my share of these sites, and it is just inevitable that you will get some of that. Happy hunting!

I wrote down enough to make it clear, but still get some.Not as bad as my first time. For women it's worse cause there's like 1,000 guys for every woman down in the lower 48 & the odds of nuts are that much higher. I can't wait to get back to Alaska where there's more women then men.Better quality too. Like they say Alaska girls kick a$$.
