The McCain/Rice scenario would not work.

First, Dr. Rice has made it public that she will retire from politics and seek a fellowship with a university, but even if she remained part of the Washington Machine, her policies have always aligned with President Bush. This would represent a problem for McCain as he has become more assertive in distancing himself from the Bush administration's agenda. We are in fact hearing less talk about "a third Bush term", so it would be in McCain's best interest not to have a VP running mate that is associated with being a "hard-line" Bush supporter.

I am not certain if Hillary would be objective in exercising her role as Vice to Obama. She made it clear that the Oval Office was something she wanted for herself, and it took her several days after Obama became the nominee for her to "give up." If I were Obama, I would not wish to put her on the ticket.

The argument was that Hillary can bring over the Hispanic and women demographics, but as time goes by, it looks like Obama is gaining support in both groups on his own.

I dont think Oboma and Hillery will make a good match. When the campaigning started I loathed Hillery and liked Oboma. As the campaign progressed I changed my opinion of Hillery. Originally I didnt think much of her as a person and thought her political ideologies where more fantasy based than reality based. I liked Obama as a person, but didnt know much about his political ideas other than it appeared he could work together on bi-partisan legisislation.

I still dont really like Hillery as a person, but I think Politically she is much better suited for the white house than Obama. She has more practical experience, she stands behind what she says and doesnt get wishy washy depending on which particular block of voters she is after. I still like Obama as a person and think he got a bad rap in a lot of instances, some day he may have the maturity and experience to make a good president. I dont think he is there yet.

I dont think Hillery and Obama woudl be good partners in the white house. They are both two me centered and woudl be fighting like cats and dogs. Hillery has said over and over again that Obama lacks the experience to lead the country. It would be a mistake for her to go back on that now in as much as it would be a mistake for OPbama to ask her to be his running mate in that she has time and time again publically stated why his ideas and plans wont work. If OBama were to when he will need a fresh face and a fresh start. Personaly, I am voting for McCain. I think Obama is very out of touch with America and his idea of taxation is unrealistic and will just hurt the economy more. YOu cant tax a country out of a economic cownturn. You have to stimulate the economy, increased taxes do the opposite.

I think McCain and Rice woudl be good running mates. McCain continualy does what he thinks is right even when its against what the majority of the Republican party is going for. I thhink McCain realizes something that neither Hillery or Obama understand. The silent voting majority of Americans are neither far left or far right. Regardless of Democrat or Republican we are in the middle with left or right leanings. McCain is the closest of the candidates to the American center. Out of all the Bush administration Rise is still the one who has my trust. Maybe the only one left. I believe like McCain she trully does what she sees as best for the country regardless of political opinion or personal agendas. I believe both of them can work bi-partisanly toward fixing the current downturn we are in.

While I think Rice as a VP to McCain is once again subordinating her talents and intellect to an inferior boss; having Rice on any ticket would be huge. She is arguably one the smartest people on this planet.

Hillary Clintons pretends to be Smart. Obama is smart, but no more or less than the average American (which makes him smarter than just about every politician). McCain is neither a policy wonk like Clinton and he is not quite as smart as Obama; but he doesn't have the ego problems Hillary suffers from. All that said, Condi Rice destroy any of the above in a debate and that intense look on her face is, in itself, enough to force any world leader into submission.

If Condi Rice entered the political frey in the race for the next President, she would be a God among mortals. She is black, she is a woman, and she is hands down an intellectual juggernaught compared to any other candidate running. Our country would be saved at last....well so far....

McCain/Condelezza would not work, she has to much in the brains and common sense department.

Obama/Hilary would make the Liberals happy, two Bozos on one ticket.

Rice couldn't hold her own in a debate, therefore i think she would be a poor choice along with some of the reasons stated above. Obama/Hillary on the other hand may still be a wise pick for the dems. in the primaies they combined for over 37 million votes which is a lot for a primary season. that could translate into a big win in the general election.(i think Obama is gonna win in a landslide. McCain could not have been a worse candidate for the "conservatives").

If Condelezza Rice would have done her job as national security advisor to the Presidet on 911, there never would have been a terrorist attack on 911! With the responsibilty of that job, she completely failed to protect our nation, and anyone who try's to say that she had no pryor warning is a complete fool. The Bush admistration done everthing it could to stop any investigation into the truth concerning their prior knowledge and intelligence on the 911 attack. I am not saying they had anything to do with letting the attack happen, but the 911 commision did expose the total lack of her ability to do the job she was given. Now she is nat.sec. of state. She did not do her job and Bush gives her a promotion, no wonder our country is in such a MESS!!! The two Bozos are the president and his political cronie Condi

Well we can look at it this way too, if Clinton and Kerry had not fought so hard to reduce the amount of personel in the middle east, and translators when they both knew they were a real threat, there is a good chance we would have had better intel too.
There were so many problems that were part of that to make a single person responcible is stupid. We can go all the way back to Bush Sr. on this.

sometimes u have to be dramatic to wake people up from the previous century. it is 2008, and its time for a new vision; time to see things in a new way, and solve problems in a new way and not clinging to the same old same old "as long as one is a monk, one keeps tolling the bell".

SCW: Obviously, syngar doesn't understand what is meant by a "drama ticket."

China and I would be a "harmony ticket."
