| I notice the overall impression. Do I like the way he carries himself, if he looks friendly, insecure, relaxed. Does he seem happy to meet me? Is he pretty clean cut? I look at his clothes, not to see if he's wearing Armani, but does he take pride in how he looks? Clean, scruffy, wrinkled, that kind of thing. I put a lot of time and thought into what I wear to a first meeting, and would hope he does, too. I am drawn in by a nice warm, sincere smile, then go from there. Some look like their pic, some don't.

| First thing I notice is their face and then body and what they have on if it looks clean or not then as I get closer how they smell, if they're wearing cologne or just soap. After all that, then I look at how they act and what they say and how they say, what they say.
There's so many things that go into making a first impression.

I would have to second this comment. I would take the overall characteristics of the person. Trying to get as much information as possible before approaching someone I might be interested in.
