I have a special place in my heart for teachers and nurses and all those who help and serve.

| I only wear white in the summer...scrubs just don't look good with blood and other stains! (Sorry to the faint of heart).
I have no specific predilecation toward any group or gender. Oh, except those of the male variety!  But I love men, women, children....humans, canines, felines, other mammals! And fish, dolphins, whales...just animals in general. Except weasels. There are some two legged weasels around that I don't particularly care for!

I'm drawn to intelligent and wise men and women and I'm not talking about scholarly types here. I enjoy friendships with folks that have a natural 'ease' and confidence about themselves. Having compassion, street smarts, common sense and the proclivity to grow in mind, body and spirit are essential behaviours to me. I love to be around positive and upbeat friends that haven't allowed lifes challenges to defeat them.

Tall and dark men have always fascinated me. Now that was the "superfical" side of me".

| Aaaaah Qirki that is so sweet. You really think nurses look good in those white uniforms? Guess what? Most nurses I know, myself included, absolutely hate those white uniforms. Can you imagine what they look like at the end of the day? I have had everything from emesis to feces to blood all down the front and sides and no matter what you do you just have to tolerate it till quitting time. No matter how quickly you run to the ladies room and try to clean it up it has already set and there you go......Or maybe you like them because you can see any non-white underwear perfectly through white uniforms?  One of my friends forgot (so she says) to change her red hot lover panties one morning before coming to work and we had a good view all day long of her sign across her backside "red hot lover" and the red hearts.
Anyway back on topic: A man who is unafraid of his emotions, or mine, turns me into mush. One of my favorite people was a guy that I went to school with named Roger. He died several years ago with Leukemia. But we were buddies all through school and never lost touch. Even after the death of my husband Roger would call or come by and check on me and my boys every week.....we could laugh or cry openly with each other and I never thought him less a man. I could talk to him about things that I didn't talk to my girl friends about.
